What To Expect
After you depart from Vancouver, take a short ride to Tsawwassen Terminal, where you'll board a BC Ferries vessel for a 90-minute sail through the scenic beauty of the Gulf Islands. Get some fresh air and watch out for marine wildlife from the outdoor ship deck. Just make sure to bundle up!
Once you arrive at Schwartz Bay Terminal on Vancouver Island, travel through the countryside to Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia. Here you will be given a short introduction to the area and have some free time to explore the unique shops and cafes of Government Street and Chinatown.
Stroll along the Inner Harbour for prime ocean views. Don’t forget to snap a couple of photos of the Victoria Parliament Building and the Fairmont Empress Hotel, both impeccably decorated for the Christmas season.
Continue to the enchanting botanical paradise of Butchart Gardens and the Magic of Christmas. Wander through a series of themed gardens to view and experience Christmas lights, holiday wreaths, carolers, ice skating, and more.
Finally, it’s back towards Schwartz Bay for the journey back to Vancouver by bus and ferry.
