What To Expect

Let us share with you the wonderful landscapes and stunning vistas that are found in the Foothills of the Rocky Mountains. This adventure takes you around Calgary and into the region to the southwest of town. A great tour for those wanting to get away from the hustle of the city and enjoy a ranch country experience. We provide an introduction to the landscapes around Calgary and highlight the less-traveled roads that allow you to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of Alberta.

This tour involves a stop at Granary Road, a farmers’ market, and a bistro while driving past ranches with cattle, elk, and sometimes bison. There are many opportunities for photos with the mountain ranges as the backdrop… or even the city of Calgary from a distance.

Alternately, this tour can bring you to a tourist spot along the Elbow River, past Bragg Creek, and into the Kananaskis Country along with Alberta’s Highway 66. Some options allow for a little more adventure, but all routes provide the passengers with chances to take great photos either from the sidecar seat or at a rest stop. A picnic lunch option is available.
