5 Day Anchorage and Seward

Day 4: Prince William Sound Flight-Seeing Experience
Experience the serenity of cruising the calm waters of Prince William Sound while marveling at the grandeur of its ever-changing glaciers. Major Marine Tours and a Chugach National Forest Ranger will be your guides as you cruise through the calm, protected waters outside of Whittier, Alaska. The Surprise Glacier Tour showcases a massive tidewater glacier and marine wildlife.
The four-and-a-half-hour Blackstone Glacier Tour will take you to three tidewater glaciers, breathtaking scenery, and towering waterfalls. You will stop at each glacier to enjoy floating among the icebergs and witness calving, where giant slabs of ancient glacial ice crash into the ocean. Watch for wildlife such as otters, sea lions, eagles, and occasionally whales.
A Chugach National Forest Ranger will be onboard to provide information on the area's history and ecology. Top of the experience by enjoying a freshly prepared meal of Alaska salmon and prime rib in the heated cabin while you cruise.
