Day 1
Vancouver Island - Butchart Garden - Chinatown - Inner Harbour - Mount Tolmie Park (96 km)
In the morning, we will take the ferry to Victoria to visit the famous Butchart Gardens. Then, we will pass by Chinatown, where we will see the Inner Harbour, the Parliament Buildings of British Columbia, Mile Zero, Tolmie Hill Park, and the University of Victoria.

BC Parliament Buildings The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are where the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia meet. They are located in Victoria, British Columbia, at the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Visitors can marvel at the Baroque architecture and sprawling lawns.
Tolmie Hill Park Located near the University of Victoria, Mount Tolmie is easily accessible and has a 360-degree view of Victoria from the top.

University of Victoria The University of Victoria is a public research university located in Saanich and Oak Bay within Greater Victoria, British Columbia. The university was founded as Victoria College in 1903.
Mile Zero An area of southwestern Beacon Hill Park at Douglas Street in Victoria, British Columbia is the beginning of Canada's Number 1 Highway, which stretches the entire length of the country. A monument marks "mile zero" to visitors.

Victoria - Harley Castel - Gold Stream - Duncan - Chemainus - Nanaimo - Vancouver (154 km)
Today, we will visit Harley Castel, Golden Stream, Duncan, and Chemainus. Then, we will head to Nanaimo for a short break before continuing to Vancouver.

Goldstream Provincial Park Known for its wildlife - like the annual salmon run and the large population of bald eagles that feed on said salmon - this park in British Columbia measures 937 acres.
Duncan, BC Dubbed the "City of Totems," Duncan has more than 80 First Nations carvings located throughout town, and is also home to the Quw'utsun' Cultural Centre.
Chemainus, BC Chemainus is a charming Cowichan Valley town located in the Vancouver Island region. Chemainus is noted for its creative community, but its artistic flair is most evident in the 40 plus vivid murals scattered around town that depict its culture and history.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
