Day 1: Toronto - Montreal (504 km)

In the morning, we will depart Toronto for Montreal, where we will visit the Old City and Notre Dame Basilica. After that, we will take a cruise of the city's waterways. Then, we will check into our hotel so we can spend some free time exploring the city. In the evening, we can enjoy the Montreal International Fireworks Festival.

Always Visit Notre-Dame Basilica The Notre-Dame Basilica Cathedral in Montreal, Quebec is the oldest parish church in North America, founded in 1647. It is also the first to be elevated to the rank of basilica. Visitors also come for its impressive neoclassical architecture.

In the morning, we will visit the Bleu Lavande, the largest in North America, where we can see the different workshops, eat at the bistro, visit the private gardens, and more, all while enjoying beautiful, purple lavender fields. In the evening, we will transfer to Toronto.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy/use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Airfares

Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

All meals and drinks during the trip, but the tour guide will arrange for them.

Mandatory service fees are not included and are required. CAD$20 per person full for the driver and tour guide.

Immediately after submitting your reservation, you will receive a receipt of the booking by email.

Redemption

Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions before booking.

Booking changes

A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees

Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when the notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.

61 or more days before departure - Non-refundable deposit or 100% of total cost if value less than $500
41-60 days before departure - 25% of the trip price or 100% total cost if the value is less than $500
21-40 days before departure - 50% of the trip price or 100% total cost if the value is less than $500

Within 20 days before departure - 100% of the total purchase amount.

Day of departure or no-show - 100% per person.

Unused features are non-refundable. No-shows forfeit the entire payment.

Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.

There is a 10% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after the completion of the tour.

Itinerary Variations:

We constantly strive to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:

We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure due to operating requirements or circumstances beyond our control. If cancellation is made any time before departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or a similar tour... Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
