Sherbrooke Museum of F‌ine Arts

The Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts (French: Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke) is an art museum in downtown Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. It is placed at 241 Dufferin Street in downtown Sherbrooke.

The museum receives funding from the City of Sherbrooke, the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications and from its members.

 


Sherbrooke Nature and Science  

The Sherbrooke Nature and Science Museum (French: Musée de la nature et des sciences de Sherbrooke) is a Natural history museum and Science museum in downtown Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. It is placed at 225 Frontenac Street in downtown Sherbrooke.

The museum receives funding from the City of Sherbrooke, the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications, the Department of Canadian Heritage as well as sponsorships, special grants and private funding.

 


Mont Bellevue

Mont Bellevue is a peak that rises to 333 metres (1,093 ft) situated in a public park placed in the borough of Mont-Bellevue in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The park also covers Mont Bellevue's parent peak, Mont John-S.-Bourque (elevation: 365 m (1,198 ft)), as well as 200 hectares of land, 30 kilometers of trails, and several different types of ecosystems. Claiming 20% of the total park land, it is the largest park in Sherbrooke.

 


Saint-Michel Basilica-Cathedral

Saint-Michel Basilica-Cathedral (French: Basilique-cathédrale Saint-Michel) is a Roman Catholic minor basilica and cathedral devoted to the St. Michael placed in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. The church is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sherbrooke. The basilica was decreed on July 31, 1959.

 


Uplands Cultural And Heritage Centre

Housed in a Neo-Georgian residence built in 1862, the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation, the support and the diffusion of the cultural and heritage traditions of the Eastern Townships. The warm and inviting atmosphere is witness to the lifestyle of our ancestors. Five rooms have been decorated with antiques from the Sherbrooke Historical Society’s collection and the Lennoville-Ascot museum’s collection. The Centre sits on a 4 acres site and is surrounded by gardens and forest.

 


Sporobole

SPOROBOLE is an artist-run center that presents contemporary visual arts, provides artistic residencies, workshops, a sound spatialisation lab and a 2D-3D printing lab.
