7 Day Okanagan & the Rockies

Day 1: Vancouver - Penticton
As you leave the vibrant metropolitan city you will head east towards the beautiful Okanagan. You will pass through the small towns and incredible scenery. As you begin to drive along the Okanagan Highway, you will have a stunning view of the Okanagan to the side of you. Once you arrive in Penticton, you will be in the south-central region of British Columbia.
Day 2: Exploring the Okanagan
Enjoy the warm weather and sandy beaches as you explore the Okanagan Valley. It is an ideal destination for wine lovers and freshwater sports enthusiasts.
Day 3: Penticton - Revelstoke
Begin your drive north towards a well-known Mountain town. Revelstoke is nestled between the magnificent Selkirk and the Monashee Mountains. Take time this evening and explore what Revelstoke has to offer.
Day 4: Revelstoke - Kicking Horse - Emerald Lake
On your way to Emerald Lake join a guided river rafting excursion on the Kicking Horse River, visit the Bear Refuge and ride the gondola to the top of Kicking Horse Mountain. After your day of adventure, continue to Yoho national park, where you will find Emerald lake. Emerald Lake Lodge offers 24 cabin-style buildings, surrounding the lake is a true wilderness escape.
Day 5: Emerald Lake Lodge
Today you can just enjoy the tranquil setting or set out to find one of the many hiking trails and go canoeing.
Day 6: Emerald Lake - Lake Louise - Banff
Begin your drive into Banff National Park, which offers spectacular mountain scenery and many attractions. Make a stop in Lake Louise to view the picture-perfect lake setting with the World Famous Fairmont Lake Louise overlooking it. Take time to go up the Lake Louise Gondola and then continue on to Banff. This evening you will enjoy an evening wildlife safari to try to spot all the wilderness living in this beautiful park.
Day 7: Banff - Calgary
Follow Highway 1 towards Calgary which is known as the entrance to the Canadian Rockies. Calgary offers entrepreneurial energy while embracing the rich western heritage. Drop your car rental off at the Calgary International airport where your package will end. This itinerary is available in reverse from Calgary to Vancouver.
