Day 1

Today we will gather in Seattle. After pickup from the airport, we will take an excursion of the city that includes the Space Needle. At the end of the day we will transfer to the hotel in Vancouver, BC.

Space Needle This icon of the American Northwest has adorned everything for movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

Today we will gather in Vancouver. Our guide will meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. After, we will take a half-day tour of the city that includes stops at Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Center, Olympic Cauldron and Stanley Park etc, and take a mini ferry ride to Granville Island

Canada Place The roof of Canada Place, Vancouver's large convention facility, is made of cloth pieces to resemble sails. This complex contains the Vancouver Convention Center, the local cruise ship terminals, the city's World Trade Center, and a hotel.

Olympic Cauldron Constructed for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver's Olympic Cauldron stands as a reminder of the legacy of those great games. Located by the Vancouver Convention Center, the cauldron is an interesting piece of architecture. 


Granville island Granville Island is a peninsula off of the main hub of the city of Vancouver, a shopping district across the water from the downtown area, as well as a center of art and culture for the city.


Vancouver Convention Centre The Vancouver Convention Centre in British Columbia, Canada is one of the country's largest convention centers. It has twice been selected as the "World's Best Convention Center." The Center was an important place in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Day 2

Vancouver - Fraser Valley - Kelowna - Okanagan - Vernon (297 miles)

Start our journey via the trans-Canada highway, pass through Fraser Valley and head east for Kelowna where is the heart of the Okanagan Valley. At Lake Okanagan, listen to its legendary story and search for the lake monster "Ogopogo." Afterwards visit the renowned winery to learn about the basics of wine making. Stop by a honey farm and then settle down at Vernon.

Okanagan Lake This large and deep lake in the Okanagan Valley region of Canada's British Columbia is a popular recreation spot that offers a variety of activities in addition to gorgeous scenery. It has a surface area of 351 square kilometers.

Day 3

Vernon - Golden - Emerald Lake - Banff (285 miles)

Proceed to the Eagle Pass and visit the "Last Spike". After passing through Golden, enter Yoho National Park and visit the Natural Bridge and the Emerald Lake. Ride the Gondola (adm) to the summit of the Sulphur Mountain and enjoy a bird's eye view of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Then, experience the Bow Valley and visit none other than the Bow Falls. Arrive in the quintessential alpine village of Banff. Stay overnight in Banff.

Eagle Pass/Last Spike The outpost of Craigellachie is a tourist stop in the Eagle Pass, which allows the Canadian Pacific Railway to pass through the Monashee Mountains. This was the location in which the "Last Spike" of the railway was placed.

Next, enjoy a short lakeside walk along the shores of lovely Lake Louise. Celebrate your day of mountain adventures with a fine meal at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (meal plan). Columbia Icefield The Columbia Icefield in the northern part of Banff National Park covers an area of about 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies. The Icefield feeds eight major glaciers in the area, including Athabasca Glacier and Dome Glacier.

Day 5

Jasper National Park - Glacier Skywalk - Jasper - Valemount (85 miles)

In the morning, step on Glacier Skywalk (adm) and have a thrilling experience on a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918 feet drop. After visiting the Athabasca Falls, head to the Jasper town. You can capture the most magnificent view of mother nature by river rafting (optional) or horseback riding (optional). Or simply stroll along the heart-shaped Beauvert Lake next to the Jasper Park Lodge. Proceed to Mt. Robson and arrive at Valemount by evening.

Day 6

Valemount - Clearwater - Kamloops - Vancouver (420 miles)

Travel along Thompson River and pass the district of Clearwater and Wells Gray Provincial Park. Heads west to Kamloops, a city with over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. Visit the only GMP certified Ginseng factory in west Canada and learn about the amazing healing power of Ginseng. After passing by Hope and Hunter's Creek, we will then return to Vancouver, where we should arrive in the late afternoon, and transfer to the airport.
