Explore the awe-inspiring Bay of Fundy. A visit to this marine wonder will reward you with magnificent tides, breathtaking coastline and endless adventure.

Day 1: Arrive Moncton

A major urban centre where English and French Acadian culture blend harmoniously to create a unique community. Home to two unusual natural phenomena; the Tidal Bore on the Petitcodiac River and the famous Magnetic Hill.

Day 2: Moncton - Fundy National Park

Depart Moncton along the dramatic Fundy Coastal drive via Hopewell Cape, Be sure to visit Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park - home of Hopewell Rocks. Visit the excellent interpretive centre on site before exploring this natural phenomenon.

Twice each day the highest tides in the world — up to 46ft/14m — flood the beach, and twice each day you can explore the floor of the Bay of Fundy at low tide! Created over thousands of years by the Bay of Fundy's awesome tidal forces, the Flowerpot Rocks are a natural wonder not to be missed.

Continue to Fundy National Park which has 206 km sq of steep coastal cliffs, forest clad hills, deep rich valleys and clear rolling meadows.

Day 3: Explore Fundy National Park

Day at leisure to explore this magnificent park. The park is renowned for its hiking trails, with over 104kms of trails to choose from, ranging from easy ½km loops to a demanding 50km circuit around the park. The park is a haven for bird watchers, golfers, cyclists, canoeists and naturalists. Other sightseeing suggestions include visiting Cape Enrage Lighthouse and Mary’s Point Bird Sanctuary located nearby.

Day 4: Fundy National Park - St. Andrews-by-the-Sea

Day 5: St. Andrews

Morning at leisure to explore the area further. From bustling downtown streets to natural wonders along the Bay of Fundy, Saint John is your centre for adventure!

A bustling and historic port City waiting to be explored. Suggestions include: take an invigorating walking tour of the oldest incorporated city in Canada, shop at the historic Saint John City Market or perhaps witness the power of the Reversing Rapids, where the highest tides in the world reverse the flow of the mighty St. John River.

Also Journey through 350 million years of natural history at the New Brunswick Museum or perhaps visit the amazing Bay of Fundy ecosystem at the Irving Nature Park. In the afternoon, you will depart Saint John and drive along the scenic Fundy Coastal Drive to one of Canada’s most beautiful seaside resorts - St. Andrews.

Day 6: St. Andrews to Fredericton
